Angus Brayshaw’s immediate future in doubt after another concussion in the VFL
Angus Brayshaw’s immediate future is unclear after suffering another concussion in the VFL.
The Melbourne youngster only played 10 games last year after suffering multiple concussions.
Brayshaw took another heavy knock playing for Casey on Saturday and was not sighted after half time.
Leading sports medico Doc Larkins told 3AW Football this latest concussion is a ‘real setback’.
‘It goes into that territory of ‘how many is too many?’,’ Dr Larkins said.
‘Angus has had at least four.
‘He said last year that he was very concerned about playing again.
‘He’s certainly not likely to be playing in the short term. They’ll put him in the ‘indefinite’ category.’
Brayshaw has played 33 games since his debut in 2015, including the first two games this year.
