Andrew Rule weighs in on death of Olympian Melissa Hoskins

Crime writer Andrew Rule has weighed in on the tragic death of Olympic cyclist Melissa Hoskins.

Hoskins’ husband – and world champion cyclist – Rohan Dennis has been charged over the death, with police alleging he was driving the car which killed the 32-year-old.

The incident prompted Mr Rule to recount some of the other tragedies involving cyclists in recent times.

“We can also say that the police arrested him immediately,” he told Mark Allen and Jimmy Bartel on 3AW Breakfast.

“Clearly the police don’t think it’s altogether accidental.”
