‘An enormous life journey’: Former MP finishes 14,000km run for the Voice
Former Liberal MP and ultramarathon runner Pat Farmer has completed his 6 month run across Australia in support of the Voice to Parliament.
He told Neil Mitchell his journey was motivated by his experiences with the Indigenous community, and he believes the Voice is an “opportunity to move forward.”
“Instead of Canberra just making decisions for these rural and remote areas, and people around the country that should have been included in our constitution from day dot, now they’ll… have a voice to Canberra,” Farmer said.
