Ambulance Union Secretary calls for government intervention over ramping

Danny Hill has pushed for government intervention over ambulance ramping as small communities around regional centres miss out on ambulances.

He says the flow on effects of ramping are huge for regional centres.

“They actually drain the resources from the surrounding country towns … they no longer have an ambulance able to respond because the crews are ramped,” he told Jacqui Felgate.
