It’s one of Australia’s most infamous cold cases.

On Australia Day in 1966, Jane, Arna and Grant Beaumont, known as the Beaumont children, disappeared from Glenelg beach in Adelaide – seemingly vanishing without a trace.

The fiftieth anniversary of the disappearance was Australia Day last week. Grubby and Dee Dee caught up with crime author Alan Whitaker who has re-released his book The Satin Man which analyses the clues left following their chilling disappearance.

Maybe one day we will get an answer as to what happened on Australia Day,1966.
