AFL to back The Voice with ‘gusto’

The AFL has backed The Voice to Parliament with “gusto” according to the AFL executive general manager of inclusion and social policy, Tanya Hosh.

“We believe, as a large national institution with an extremely large membership base, we owe it to be transparent about our values and where we stand,” Ms Hosh told Neil Mitchell.

The AFL is expressing support for both recognition and the constitutional provision.

Ms Hosh says she expects pushback from fans.

“We’re not going to ask people or tell them how to vote,” she said.
