ADF veteran’s claim with department left in limbo for more than two years

An Australian Defence Force veteran who’s suffered several injuries and issues as a result of his service is still waiting for his claim to be looked at by the department of Veteran Affairs, more than two years after the claim was forced lodged.

Kristy alerted Tom Elliott to the worrying situation about her husband, who served for 12 years, on Friday.

“Still, to this day, we have not had any case manager assigned, nor has the claim even been looked at,” she said.
