Adam Saad’s insight into how Carlton keeps winning close games

Carlton defender Adam Saad says it’s no accident that the Blues keep winning close games.

Michael Voss’ side’s last six wins have come by under a goal, including their first two matches of the 2024 season.

Saad said the playing group is well prepared for closing out matches when the margin is tight.

“We train these scenarios at training almost every week,” he told Wide World of Sports.

“When it comes to game day, everyone is very clear what they have to do and play their role.”
