Good Beer Week is fast approaching (May 12 – 21), so to whet your appetite, how’s this for an even? The boys from Cavalier Brewing are teaming up with Monsieur Truffe and East Elevation to create a chocolate beer, beer chocolate and indulgent sit down dinner. Meatstock: a festival of BBQ and tunes.

THE BEST OF BOTH
Forget Woodstock, what about Meatstock? It’s a festival all about barbecue and tunes, and it’s taking place next weekend at Melbourne Showgrounds next weekend. There’ll be smoking and barbecuing demonstrations with the likes of Jess Pryles and ‘Hillbilly Wes’,  plus live music from acts like The Fumes and the Delta Riggs. FEST-TEA-VAL
We may be a self-professed city of coffee snobs, but we still loves our teas – so you might be interesting in the Melbourne Tea Festival, which is taking place on Sat 20th May at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. There’ll be a tea market, plus workshops for things like Native Australian Tea Ceremonies and making Kombucha. More info: www.melbourneteafestival.com.au

Thanks to our airline insider, Brian Wilson, we know people love pocketing goodies from airline flights, so what’s the most common item stoeln from business class on Etihad Airways?
