A man has been caught stealing a motorbike at Bundoora on Thursday

The video, believed to be filmed yesterday, shows a man with his face covered breaking into the bike with a screwdriver. 

He then manages to start the bike and is assisted by another man in a white sedan, together they ride away.

Detective Senior Sergeant Brett Meadows told Ross and John these offenders didn’t care they were being filmed, but the public should take care in similar situations in the future.

‘He’s got a pretty large screwdriver, you’d want to be real careful if you’re going to get close to people like that,’ Mr Meadows said.
