A Current Affair reporter Ben McCormack charged over alleged child pornography offences
A Current Affair reporter Ben McCormack has been charged over alleged child pornography offences.
The 42-year-old was taken into custody by NSw police early Thursday morning.
McCormack was allegedly engaged in sexually explicit conversations about children with an adult male and discussed child pornography.
His Sydney home was raided by police, where they seized computers, a mobile phone, and electronic storage devices.
Police then raided the offices of A Current Affair at Channel Nine in Willoughby.
Nine issued a statement, saying the matter did not involve the program or the station and they are fully cooperating with police.
He was released on strict bail terms and will appear in court in May.
