Brisbane Lions ‘likely’ to ask AFL for priority pick if they finish above Essendon
The Brisbane Lions will likely ask the AFL for a priority pick at the end of the season, says Sam ‘Scoop’ McClure.
And the Sports Today newsbreaker said the Lions cause may be aided by the fact its Essendon which is likely to finish on the bottom of the ladder.
Scoop said a similar thing happened in 2007, when Carlton was given picks 1 and 3, despite finishing above Richmond.
‘There is form there,’ Scoop said.
