Port Adelaide defender Tom Jonas says it’s ‘fair’ he copped a six-match ban for his high-hit on Andrew Gaff.

Jonas was suspended by the tribunal on Tuesday night.

The Power player had been under plenty of scrutiny for his late hit on the West Coast midfielder on Saturday night, which saw Gaff stretchered off Adelaide Oval.

Jonas pleaded guilty to the charge, but contested the assessment of his intent.
