Police have come out today saying Melbourne is a ‘Spraycation destination’ for international tourists.

Dean Sunshine, graffiti blogger and author of ‘Street Art Now’ spoke with Tom Elliott.

He says if there were more places open to ‘street artists’ to tag, there would be less unwanted graffiti.

‘There is so much money used on cleaning it up, surely that money can be spent on better use’

Dean says he doesn’t agree with tagging public property at all.

Tom Elliott draws the line at people tagging public and private property without permission.

‘If people want paint on their buildings that’s fine, but why tag the side of a freeway?’
