AFL Football Operations Manager Mark Evans says Essendon should get Pick 1 if they finished last this season.

Evans told 3AW Football on Sunday that the Bombers have been punished enough.

Evans also said the AFL will look into stopping players from contributing to their own head-high contact.

Evans: ‘Essendon’s received significant sanctions, we think it should end there. The competition needs Essendon to rebuild.’
