Fast food outlet McDonald’s is set to expand its menu as customer demand changes amid the COVID-19 crisis.

Beginning next week, customers will be able to buy staple pantry items from the safety of their own cars.

Milk, muffins and hamburger buns are among the items which will be available for purchase from the drive-through.

The standard McDonald’s menu will remain on offer.
