Push to block Aussie winemakers from using the term ‘Prosecco’

There’s an apparent push from the European Union to stop Australian winemakers from using the term “Prosecco” to sell wine.
Tony Battaglene, Chief Executive of the Industry Group, Australian Grape and Wine, said it’s uncalled for.
“It’s just ridiculous,” he said.
