Neil Mitchell has obtained exclusive details of yet another attempted car-jacking in Melbourne.

Alex, 21, told 3AW he was driving his work ute home on Stud Road at 2am on Sunday morning when two cars suddenly stopped in front of him.

Another pulled up from behind.

Alarmed by the recent spate of violent attacks, Alex decided to test his luck by driving away in fear of being hurt.

The cars sped after him in pursuit, but he managed to get away.

‘I just got lucky,’ he told Neil Mitchell.
