Port Adelaide fined $20,000 for handling of Hamish Hartlett’s concussion
Port Adelaide has been fined $20,000 for its handling of Hamish Hartlett’s concussion last week.
Several questions were raised during last Thursday’s clash between the Power and Hawthorn when the midfielder spent little more than five minutes off the ground following a nasty knock to the head.
While Hartlett passed the SCAT3 test and deemed fit to play, he did not spend the required 15 minutes off the ground.
He conducted a television interview at half-time where he admitted to ‘seeing stars’ after the incident.
Half of the $20,000 fine has been suspended until the end of 2018.
