Ross and John are off to Rio for the Olympics and are chasing travel tips.

3AW favourite Flip Shelton has lived in Brazil and dropped by on Tuesday morning to offer some local advice.

But she left Ross and John more concerned about going, if anything!

‘If you come back and haven’t been robbed, you’ve done a really good job,’ Flip confessed on 3AW Breakfast.

‘And that’s just down to luck.

‘Only take stuff that you’re prepared to lose because you will lose it.’

‘Oh, so it’s just like going to the TAB?’ Ross quipped.

‘Who was the genius who decided to hold the Olympics in this sort of joint!?’
