Dairy farmers have endorsed the new industry mandatory code of conduct.

Agriculture Minister Bridget McKenzie has released the new Dairy Code of Conduct — and she’s confident it’ll ensure dairy farmers get a fair deal.

Before releasing the plan to the public, the minister briefed industry leaders about the plan in Canberra.

One of them is Dairy Connect president Graham Forbes, who is also the operator of a large dairy farms in New South wales.

Natalie Peters spoke with Graham to find out what the lobby group makes of the code.
