It’s been a case of Willy Wonka’s magic golden ticket on the trains this morning.

Metro staff have been handing out chocolate bars to commuters at Flinders Street station.

One of those bars contained a Golden ticket, a Golden Myki card for free travel for a year.

The promotion was part of a thank you for their patience as level crossing removal works cause significant disruptions of the network.
