Controversy surrounds Julia Gillard ‘chew toy’ for dogs
UPDATE: A controversial chew toy for dogs which depicted former prime minister Julia Gillard has been taken off the shelf.
The RSPCA in Queensland came under fire over its doll of Ms Gillard, which sold for $20.
Lisa Carey, National co-ordinator for Emily’s List Australia, said it wasn’t on and was clearly meant as an insult.
‘She doesn’t deserve something like this,’ she said.
