Dandenong teacher wants students to master English before learning second language
A Dandenong Primary School teacher has written a letter in The Age today.
In it she calls for students to be taught English properly before learning a second language.
Elise Curnow, a primary school teacher in Dandenong, told Tom Elliott English was hard enough.
‘When you start teaching another language on top of that it can crowd young minds,’ she said.
