A man who brutally killed his former partner in broad daylight has been jailed for 25 years.

Craig McDermott was sentenced on Wednesday.

Fiona Warzywoda was stabbed six times by McDermott outside her solicitor’s office at a Sunshine shopping strip in April, 2014.

McDermottt will serve a 20-year minimum.
