More than 100 Councillors and a number of councils will be sacked next month for failing to sign a new code of conduct .

13 entire councils will also be sacked including Ballarat, Frankston, Wyndam and Queenscliff.

State Opposition leader Matthew Guy says it will result in chaos.

‘The big deal about this is you’ve got millions of dollars of permits that have been issued.’

‘The government has just sat back and watch this unfold.’ – Mr Guy told Tom Elliott. 

Tom Elliott also spoke with Amy Johnson, Councillor from the Ballarat City Council.

She says she had no idea this would happen and is devastated.

The Local Government Investigations and Compliance Inspectorate will appoint administrators to replace the councils for seven weeks until the 2016 general council elections are decided.
