Free Wi-Fi to be rolled out in major areas across Victoria
Melburnians will be able to connect to free Wi-Fi at various spots in the CBD.
The Andrews government has launched ‘Australia’s largest and fastest free Wi-Fi service’ at several locations across the state.
CBD train stations, Queen Victoria Market, and Bourke street mall are some of the locations at which you will be able to connect to the service in Melbourne.
Wi-Fi spots will also pop up in Ballarat and Bendigo.
Innovation Minister Philip Dalidakis told Ross and John this will bring Melbourne up to speed with major cities like New York, London, and San Francisco.
‘Hopefully, this reinforces to all Victorians that we are globally competitive, that we can compete with the best in the world, and beat them at their own game,’ Mr Dalidakis said.
