Police are on the hunt for four men after an armed robbery at an Oakleigh South supermarket.

The men, armed with knives, entered the supermarket on Warrigal Road just before 8.30pm on Wednesday night.

The group threatened staff with knives and stole cash and cigarettes before taking off in a white car.

Nobody was injured.
