RUMOUR CONFIRMED: A much-loved mascot from a childcare centre has been brazenly stolen.

‘Hot Hippo’ told The Rumour File that Hip Hop the hippo had been pinched from Hippity Hop Childcare centre at Pakenham.

The hippo statue weighs 50 kilograms.

Children at the childcare centre are devastated.
