Popular food writer Margaret Fulton has died aged 94.

Fulton received a Medal of the Order of Australia and was known for changing the way Australian’s ate.

She was most well-known for her 1968 The Margaret Fulton Cookbook.

In a statement, her family says they are “mourning the loss of their loving, inspirational and treasured mother, grandmother and great-grandmother”.
