Multiple arrests made after dramatic Dandenong smash
Four males have been arrested following a dramatic smash at Dandenong.
Anthony alerted 3AW Drive to the incident on Tuesday.
He said a car came “screaming around a corner” before hitting a tree.
He said the four males jumped out of the car and attempted to flee the scene.
“I reckon I saw every police officer in the state looking for them,” Anthony said.
Victoria Police has since confirmed it had arrested four teenage boys.
A 17-year-old Dandenong North teen was released at the scene.
The driver, a 17-year-old from Cranbourne, was interviewed at the scene for driving offences and released.
He is expected to be charged on summons.
Two passengers, a 16-year-old from Dandenong North and a 17-year-old from Cranbourne, were arrested for possessing a drug of dependence, handling stolen goods and possessing the proceeds of crime.
They are currently assisting police.
