Ron Iddles to step down as secretary of the police association

Ron Iddles is standing down as head of the Police Association.
The well-respected former homicide detective will finish up in the role on February 24 next year.
He’s spent 42 years in the police force.
‘I just think it’s an appropriate time,’ Mr Iddles told Neil Mitchell on Friday.
