Dog on the run shuts West Gate Bridge

A dog on the run brought the West Gate Bridge to a standstill on Tuesday.

All outbound lanes were shut shortly before 10am as police caught the curious canine.

It’s unclear how the dog got there.

All lanes have since been re-opened.
