A man has drowned off Frankston Pier this morning.

Emergency services were first called to their pier shortly before 1am amid reports a man had jumped into the water and was struggling to swim.

Sadly, the man couldn’t be saved.

His body was located about 1.30am.

Police say he is yet to be identified and the exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined.
