He was once the golden boy of breakfast television, but Karl Stefanovic won’t last the year as host of the Today Show, says Peter Ford.

3AW Breakfast’s showbiz guru said the Channel 9 presenter was on the nose with viewers and the network knew it.

‘Women have turned on him as a result of his marriage break up and the way that’s played out,’ Peter Ford explained on Monday.

‘He’s going to be gone from there.

‘I’d be surprised if he lasted the year, quite frankly.

‘And he wants out, too, he doesn’t want to be there anymore.

‘Not that he hates the show or the people, he just hates the regime that goes with doing that show every day.

‘They’ve got a big problem.’
