Australian Sex Party leader Fiona Patten has revealed the political party is considering a name change.

She joined Neil Mitchell in studio on Tuesday.

The 3AW Mornings host said the party would be taken far more seriously if it changed its name.

‘I tend to agree with you,’ Ms Patten said on 3AW Mornings.

‘I probably wouldn’t have said that a few years ago.’
