A man has been stabbed during a brawl at Melbourne Central Railway Station.

It’s believed three men were involved in an altercation shortly before 2.20pm. 

One man received stab wounds and was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. 

A 42-year-old man was arrested on scene and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.

Another man remains on the run, police are investigating.
