Falls Festival revellers in Lorne have received an urgent text message following a death at a music festival in New South Wales.

A Queensland man, 22, died at the Lost Paradise Festival last weekend. Two other people also became unwell.

Officially, authorities say the man died after consuming an “unknown substance”.

But, yesterday, Falls Festival attendees were specifically warned about an orange pill.

Falls Festival organisers say while no attendees have been treated for drug-related illnesses, their medical teams have been advised about a dangerous orange pill in circulation across Australia.

Attendees are reminded that “one pill can kill”.

Falls Festival is also underway at Marion Bay, Tasmania, and Byron Bay, NSW.
