Mum punched in the head and hit with plank of wood by gang of teenagers outside her house
A Mill Park mother has been bashed by a gang of teenagers outside her home, in a brawl believed to be sparked by a break-up between her teenage son and their 15-year-old neighbour.
Nine News reporter Lana Murphy told Tony Jones single mother Emma Mackenzie was mowing her lawn about 2.30pm yesterday when a brawl has erupted.
“Initially it was between her 14-year-old son and some teenagers who live across the road,” Lana said.
“We understand this is all fueled by a break up between Emma’s son Blake and a 15-year-old who lives across the road.
“(Emma’s CCTV) It shows some pretty confronting images, she was flung to the ground, she was punched multiple times in the head by a grown woman and some teenagers.
“It’s all very violent.”
