Boy allegedly rams police in McDonald’s drive-through
A boy has been charged over the ramming of a police car in Craigieburn this morning.
The teenager, 17, was driving a vehicle with no number plates when he allegedly refused to pull over for police on Aitken Boulevard about 12.20am.
Police tried to intercept him a second time when he turned into the drive-through of a nearby McDonald’s restaurant.
That’s when the L-plater allegedly rammed the police car.
The Roxburgh Park boy was arrested at the scene.
His car has been impounded at a cost of $939.
A 16-year-old girl was his only passenger. She was released without charge.
No-one was injured.
