“It was very emotional” | 3AW reporter fights back tears as Bhutanese twins leave hospital

The previously conjoined twins, Nima and Dawa, have left the Royal Children’s Hospital.
The Bhutanese twins were successfully separated by a medical team earlier this month.
Their mother was thankful to everybody when walking out the door.
It left 3AW reporter Donna Demaio fighting back tears.
“It was a very emotional moment,” she said.
