Mr Thorburn says NAB has been transparent with its customers when there has been a problem

‘Where we have had issues with customers, where we have not served them well I believe our bank has faced into that, often self-reported and said this isn’t good enough and we’re going to fix it,’ he told Ross Greenwood.

‘Earning respect and the trust of our customers is absolutely paramount.’
