Group armed with sledge hammers hold up service station in Mornington
A number of men have robbed a service station overnight on Mornington Peninsula armed with sledgehammers.
The brazen armed robbery at the Caltex service station on Nepean Highway left the attendant shaken but uninjured.
Jonathan Kearsley from Nine News told Neil Mitchell a quantity of cash was stolen.
It comes after Police Chief Graham Ashton this morning warned youth offenders were increasingly targeting service stations.
