Fremantle CEO Steve Rosich denies Lachie Neale walked out on the club.

He told Sportsday the 25-year-old would’ve been happy to stay at the Dockers if the deal to send him to Brisbane wasn’t completed.

“Lachie made that clear to us and me personally,” he said.

“He had an opportunity at Brisbane, which was a significant one and we had a view that (we wouldn’t trade him) unless an opportunity came about that met our needs.”
