Pedestrian killed on Princes Freeway, sparking major traffic problems
A pedestrian has been killed at Laverton, sparking major delays on the Princes Freeway.
The victim, who is yet to be formally identified, was hit by a vehicle on the Princes Freeway near Point Cook Road around 5.30.
It saw all four inbound lanes closed for the morning peak.
They’ve since been reopened.
Police are seeking any witnesses to the incident, particularly anyone with dashcam footage.
