Two pedestrians critical after being hit by mini-bus near Victorian/NSW border
Two people are fighting for life in hospital this morning after being hit by a mini-bus near the Victoria-New South Wales border.
The pedestrians, a 72-year-old man and 67-year-old woman suffered life threatening injuries when they were struck by a mini bus on Shaw Street, Moama about 7pm last night.
They were flown to The Royal Melbourne hospital where they remain in critical conditions.
The driver of the bus, a 61-year-old man, was taken to Deniliquin Hospital for mandatory testing.
Police are yet to lay charges.
Any witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage is urged to come forward.
