“That’s what respect looks like”: Players perform Maori haka in honour of Dally M winner
This caught Kate and Quarters’ eye this morning!
Dally M winner Roger Tuivasa-Sheck’s fellow Kiwis led a tribute to the Dally M winner last night.
Warriors player Issac Luke broke into a traditional Maori haka in honour of the very first Warrior to win the prestigious award and was joined by Jamayne Isaako, Esan Marsters, and Jordan Rapana.
“This is at the end of the ceremony in the crowd, in their black tie,” Kate said.
“Fantastic!” Quarters said.
“There’s just something about it isn’t there?!” Kate replied.
