You might also be tasked with taking over dedicated, dog-loving Instagram account, featuring the inner north’s finest pooches.
A Fitzroy North couple are selling their house, but with it comes a unique responsibility.
Former 3AW producer Sam Drummond and partner Jo’s house is on the market, but they’re also keen for prospective owners to take over their Instagram account, called Doggos of Piedimonte’s.
It features dogs out the front of the local supermarket nearby their place in Austin Way.
Drummond joked they had unashamedly reached peak “Fitzroy North” and there’s a small but loyal following.
“We love our dogs, we don’t have any of our own,” he told Neil Mitchell.
“We live quite close to the local supermarket, and have grown quite fond of the dogs that are always tied out there.”
He said prospective owners might like to keep the Instagram account going.
Neil: So, you buy the house, and you get the dog page?!
Drummond: If you want it, yep! Or you buy the dog page and you get a free house…
