Ferrari GTS impounded after driver allegedly returns whopping blood alcohol reading
Police have impounded a red Ferrari GTS overnight after it was spotted travelling erratically along Chapel Street in Prahran.
Investigators observed the car travelling north on Chapel Street about 11.30pm, when they stopped it and performed a breath test on the driver.
The driver, a 42-year-old Caulfield man, allegedly returned a positive blood alcohol content reading of 0.288.
His Ferrari was immediately impounded for 30 days at a cost of $889.10 and his licence was immediately suspended.
He is expected to be charged on summons with one count of drink driving.
