Daniel Hannebery has officially asked to be traded to St Kilda.

The three-time All Australian midfielder has informed Sydney he wants to play for the Saints.

Gary Rohan has also asked to be traded back to Victoria.

“We understand Dan and Gary’s reasons for exploring a move home to a Victorian club to be closer to family,” Swans footy boss Tom Harley said.

St Kilda has since confirmed its interest in Hannebery.

Tom Morris says Geelong is in the box seat to land Rohan.
